A degree in Biology led me to a career in the classroom, where I have taught everything from Sports Nutrition to Forensics to Wilderness Survival and more. A love of storytelling led to an MFA in Creative Writing, and when I became a parent, helping my dyslexic child learn to love books introduced me to the world of audiobooks and audiobook narration. I bring these myriad and varied life experiences into the booth with me and use them to imbue stories with emotional depth and intellectual authenticity.
I am adept at narrating scientific and historical fiction and nonfiction, but my background in psychology, anatomy & physiology, and forensics makes me uniquely well-suited for narrating tales of true crime, mysteries, and thrillers (medical thrillers especially). No matter the genre, though, I’m always on the lookout for stories with a smart, resourceful protagonist or a villain who can make me shiver.
